The Burrow Underground is a team of multi-disciplinary creatives and collaborators, programmers and producers, place-makers and facilitators. Underground Productions are the unique arts experiences we produce and present, bringing artists, audiences and communities together.

With skills and experience across a number of artistic disciplines and areas of creative production, our practice is broad, yet connected by our commitment to bring new arts projects to life and create contexts for dynamic exchange.

In the current environment we are focused on the following projects:

PRODUCING

POP-UP VENUES & ACTIVATING SPACES

With experience setting up, programming and running venues in inner city shopfronts, railway sheds, sea containers and more, The Burrow Underground team are seeking opportunities to continue our work as independent arts presenters, activating disused spaces and bringing communities together.

PRODUCING

ARTS EXPERIENCES ONLINE

While we continue to champion the importance of bringing communities together, we are growing our capacity to produce high quality arts experiences and build an audience online.

Projects in development include Underground Sessions, a series of live performance films showcasing the work of local artists and Withheld, an interactive film (originally produced as a theatre work as part Melbourne Fringe 2018).

ARTS PROJECTS, EVENTS & TOURS

We are dedicated to creating contexts for contemporary performance work and will continue to support independent artists, leveraging our skills and experience to offer services as producers of arts projects, events and tours.
